Geoff and Alison Maynard have regularly featured in the presentation line-up at the Callide Dawson Carcase Competition as well as supporting the event as sponsors.
 
During this years presentation dinner, the Maynard family were named the most successful exhibitor after receiving awards for the following categories:

• Grand Champion Carcase (from 411 head) 
• Champion Grainfed Steer Carcase
• Champion Grainfed Heifer Carcase
• 1st Single Grainfed Steer Class
• 1st Pen of Grainfed Steer Class
• 1st Single Grainfed Heifer Class
• 1st Pen of 3 Grainfed Heifer Class
• 2nd in Pen of Grainfed Heifers 
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd  growth rate, in Grainfed Heifer Class

In the best liveweight heifer gain in the feedlot component, daughter Bonnie Maynard's entry was awarded first place.
